About LGBT+ Thamesmead
LGBT+ Thamesmead is a small community group association that formalised in October 2024.
We aim to provide safe spaces, events, activities and socials to help LGBTQIA+ people in and around Thamesmead to meet, socialise, and support each other as part of a strong, vibrant local community.
Our committee
LGBT+ Thamesmead is run by an association of local LGBTQIA+ residents who volunteer to organise events and activities and help to keep the group running smoothly.
Every year at our Annual General Meeting, the association elects members to serve on our committee.
